Ready to take your fitness to the next level? Check out one of our NEW instructional fitness classes at the SRWC: Total Body Shred – a small group training class taught by a certified personal trainer. And Kettlebell Training – a class focused on learning the purpose and technique of training with kettlebells. The next session began on Oct. 29, but it’s not too late to sign up!

The two new classes, in addition to the rest of our instructional classes like Pilates Reformer, Muy-Thai and TRX-Mix, are offered in six week sessions and taught by industry professionals.

“All of these classes are taught by an instructor with an expertise,” explained Maureen MacRae, interim associate director of the SRWC. “They’re designed to be progressive in nature and are smaller and more specialized than the free drop-in classes.”

All classes have a limited amount of space for each session as to ensure quality training and attention is provided to each member of the class. The costs of these classes at the SRWC are also exceptionally lower than you would find at a private gym. “You would be paying at least triple the price that what we charge here,” added MacRae.
