Join us for Spa Night by the Water on Tuesday, Nov. 5. from 5 to 7 p.m. Enjoy a peaceful night by the SRWC pool and spa featuring DIY self-care products such as lotions, essential oil mists and hand scrubs to encourage relaxation.

  • Flow Yoga : 5:15 - 5:40 PM
  • Mindful Meditation : 5:45 - 6:10 PM
  • Soothing Sound Bath : 6:15 - 6:45 PM

The Day I Finally Took a Break!

The first week I worked at Beach Balance, something happened that I still think about today. I was walking past one of our wellness rooms when I noticed a student curled up on the couch, fast asleep, backpack on the floor, headphones still in. At first, I worried something was wrong, but then I saw the slow, deep breathing and the relaxed face. They were just tired. Really tired.
